Says attack on Mr. Bukhari painful, anguishing

Srinagar June 14 (KNO) : Strongly condemning the attack on Senior Journalist & Chief Editor Daily Rising Mr. Shujaat Bukhari in which the Mr. Bukhari and his PSO lost their lives today, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir described the incident as cowardly, & shameful act on the part of attackers.

Strongly condemning this inhuman act, G.A. Mir expressed serious anguish over the deadly attack on Senior Journalist and emphasized the Govt to ascertain the identity of the attackers for severe punishment. I am pained and shocked to hear about this unfortunate news of killing of Senior Journalist and I have no words to express my grief, G.A. Mir added and expressed solidarity with the family of Mr. Bukhari and his friends and relatives.

I offer my deepest condolences to bereaved family and pray for eternal peace to Mr. Bukhari, Mir Said.
